The CBSE Class 10 compartment exam is designed for students who fail in one or two subjects in the main board exam. It gives them a chance to improve their performance without repeating the entire year.
- Students can get up to three chances to clear the compartment subject.

- July/August 2026 (same year)
- March/April 2027
- July/August 2027
