Who Designed the Indian Flag?
The Indian national flag was designed by Pingali Venkayya, a freedom fighter from Andhra Pradesh, who first proposed a flag design in 1921 at the Indian National Congress session in Vijayawada.
The final design was officially adopted on 22 July 1947 by the Constituent Assembly.
