What is the KSET exam?

The KSET exam stands for Karnataka State Eligibility Test. It is a state-level eligibility examination conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) to determine the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor posts in colleges and universities in Karnataka.

The KSET exam is similar to UGC NET but is valid mainly for teaching eligibility within Karnataka. Candidates who qualify KSET can apply for Assistant Professor positions in higher educational institutions across the state.

The exam consists of two papers:

Paper 1: Teaching and Research Aptitude

Paper 2: Subject-specific questions based on the candidate's postgraduate subject

KSET is conducted in MCQ format and is an important exam for candidates pursuing careers in teaching and higher education in Karnataka.
