What did students learn about biodiversity from their nature walk?
Students learned from their nature walk that biodiversity refers to the wide variety of plants, animals, and other living organisms present around us. They observed that living beings have different structures, features, behaviours, and ways of surviving.
During the nature walk, students noticed different types of plants such as trees, shrubs, herbs, climbers, and creepers. They also observed animals, birds, and insects and understood how these organisms interact with their surroundings.
The activity helped students recognize that every organism has unique characteristics and a specific role in nature. Observing biodiversity directly improves understanding of habitats, adaptations, and the connections between different living beings in an ecosystem.
